Dr. Aleks Luszczynska is a psychology professor at the SWPS University, Wroclaw, Poland. She leads the Care-Beh Center Applied Research on Health Behavior and Health at SWPS University, specializing in health behavior change and resilience in the context of chronic illness. The team creates, implements, and evaluates health-promoting interventions. Dr. Luszczynska has collaborated with the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience since 2008.

Research Interests
Dr. Luszczynska's research deals with mechanisms explaining initiation and maintenance of health-promoting behaviors, implementation of health-promoting policies, and resilience mechanisms facilitating recovery from chronic illness.
