Dr. Eve Gruntfest is Professor Emerita in the Geography and Environmental Studies Department at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs where she was a faculty member from 1980 to 2007. She is a Research Affiliate at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience. Notably, Dr. Gruntfest was awarded the Robert H. and Joanne Simpson Mentorship Award by the American Meteorological Society.
