Carolyn Yeager, Ph.D.

Carolyn Yeager, Ph.D., is Manager of Technology, Integration, & Support at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She leads the design, development, and implementation of technology-driven systems that support clinical care, program evaluation, and research in resilience and trauma recovery.

Dr. Yeager specializes in building scalable digital infrastructure for behavioral health. She is the developer of PULSE (patent pending), a comprehensive assessment system deployed across both the Veterans Health and Trauma Clinic (VHTC) and the Milestones Resilience Care Center. PULSE enables real-time data capture and feedback, empowering clients, supporting data-informed treatment planning, and providing a foundation for continuous program evaluation and outcomes research.

Her work focuses on translating evidence-based clinical models into integrated, technology-enabled solutions. She oversees the development and deployment of platforms such as myTraumaRecovery and GRIT-e, manages cross-functional software development efforts, and advances the use of data systems to improve access, engagement, and effectiveness in trauma-focused care.

In addition to her technology leadership, Dr. Yeager is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides trauma-informed care and supervision. Her clinical background informs the design of tools that are both scientifically grounded and practical for real-world implementation.

Dr. Yeager’s work centers on digital mental health infrastructure, including the design of assessment systems, data-driven program evaluation, and scalable intervention platforms. Her interests include real-time outcomes tracking, user engagement in digital interventions, and the integration of emerging technologies—such as AI and adaptive systems—into behavioral health to support clinical decision-making and personalized care.
