Nori is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Clinical Trauma Psychology program and works on the Healthy Families, Bright Futures project. She holds a BA in Psychology and an MS in Psychological Sciences from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her research interests focus on promoting resiliency in minority groups, such as LGBTQ+ and ethnically diverse youth. Her thesis at UNCW examined how sexual values mediate the relationship between internal religiosity and sexual intentions among Catholic adolescents in Mexico. Her dissertation examines how minority stress and resilience factors predict adjustment following bias related violence among nonbinary individuals.
