Biography

Aleks Luszczynska is a psychology professor at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Wroclaw, Poland. She leads a Care-Beh Center Applied Research on Health Behavior and Health at SWPS University, which specializes in health behavior change and resilience in the context of chronic illness. The term creates, implements, and evaluates health-promoting interventions. She has collaborated with the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience since 2008.

Research Interests

Aleks’s research deals with mechanisms explaining initiation and maintenance of health-promoting behaviors, implementation of health-promoting policies, and resilience mechanisms facilitating recovery from chronic illness.
