CREATE Program Featured in UCCS Scribe

The CREATE program, which was started by the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience to address the mental health and wellness needs of UCCS faculty and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, was recently featured in an article in the UCCS Scribe. The program provides a range of arts and crafts activities that bring faculty and staff together to create connection, stimulate creativity, and build resilience. After starting in the Fall of 2021, the program quickly became popular and it wasn't long before the offerings were filling up on the same day they were posted online. It is this popularity in the program that caught the eye of the staff at the Scribe.
