Senior Research Associate Joins UCCS $1 Million Club for Sponsored Research
Dr. Russell Elsberry, Senior Research Associate at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience, was recently inducted into the UCCS $1 Million Club for sponsored research. Dr. Elsberry has been a Research Associate with the Institute since 2012 and is primarily interested in the various aspects surrounding tropical cyclones, such as track, intensity, and structure. He is an Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Meteorology at the Naval Postgraduate School and is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society.
Dr. Elsberry’s work has contributed to a better understanding of tropical cyclones and has been instrumental in advancing our capabilities in tracking and forecasting these events more accurately.
