The mission of the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience is to advance human resilience to adversity by designing evidence-based solutions through interdisciplinary research, healing therapies, and community training and empowerment.

Are you a UCCS Faculty or Staff Member?
Do you currently hold one or multiple University appointments?
In the next 12 months, do you plan to submit a grant that is consistent with our Research Goal: To have built a world-renowned traumatic stress and resilience basic and applied research program that is both comprehensive and diverse yet targeted towards providing a robust evidence base for a strengths-based model of trauma care:
Would you consider submitting the grant through the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience?
Would you be willing to present your research, as it relates to resilience, at our monthly lecture series?

There are many ways in which you can get involved as a Research Affiliate. Please affirm your committment to forming a Research Affiliate relationship with the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience by agreeing to contribute to 1 or more of the following activities (SELECT 1 OR MORE):
(i.e., include the Institute on your byline on scholarly products - publications, presentations, co-author articles, books)
(e.g., lecture(s) on selected topics, sitting on thesis or dissertation committees)
(i.e., include Affiliation on email signatures, scholarly publications and other research products; connect the Lyda Hill Institute with other institutions that may be of value to the mission - promoting excellence in research on resilience, innovations in care, community empowerment; partner with Lyda Hill Institute to advocate for policy change)
