Research Participant Registry

Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience Registry

Several UCCS professors and students conduct research on mental health, disasters, trauma, first responder support, secondary trauma, and trauma recovery through the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience. Research conducted by these professors has been presented at national conferences and published in professional journals. The goal of this research is to expand our knowledge regarding the behavioral and biological effects of a broad range of traumatic stressors and to enhance health and trauma recovery with improved clinical interventions and supports.

You can make a difference and help us learn more by volunteering to participate in research projects at UCCS. Every research project has been reviewed and approved by an Institutional Review Board to ensure participant safety and confidentiality. Some projects involve payment to participants and others are conducted on a volunteer basis.
