Gemma Brom, B.A.
Biography
Gemma is a second-year Clinical Psychology master’s student with a sub-plan in trauma. She graduated from Truman State University in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in biology. She joined the Cognition, Emotion, and Well-Being Lab in Fall 2023. In her spare time, Gemma loves to spend time with her two cats, read, spend time in nature, and explore Colorado Springs and the surrounding area.
Research Interests
Gemma’s research interests include examining the roles of variables such as self-compassion, fear of self-compassion, and emotion regulation, and how it pertains to recovery and resilience in survivors of interpersonal trauma.
