Biography

Holli is a second-year Clinical Psychology master’s student with a sub-plan in trauma. She graduated from Texas Christian University in December 2022 where she majored in psychology. She worked at the Institute of Behavioral Research and at the Texas Christian University Stress Lab as a research assistant to Dr. Sarah Hill and Dr. Amanda Wiese. There, she investigated the relationship between stress, self-esteem, substance use, and well-being among individuals with a history of justice involvement. She joined the Cognition, Emotion, and Well-Being Lab in Fall 2023. 

Research Interests

Holli’s research interests include investigating the relationship between trauma, post traumatic growth, resilience, substance use, coping mechanisms and their impact on trauma disorders. Holli’s clinical interests include improving access to mental health services for servicemembers and veterans.
