Biography

Molly Higgins is a fourth-year doctoral student in the UCCS clinical psychology program, trauma emphasis. She graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she worked as a research assistant in the Laboratory for the Study of Child & Family Relationships and the DC VAMC Trauma Services program. Following her undergraduate education, Molly worked as a research assistant on a congressionally mandated longitudinal study of traumatic brain injury among service members and Veterans at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Outside of the lab, Molly enjoys leisure reading, martial arts, and spending quality time with her adorable dog.

Research Interests

Molly is a member of Dr. Heather Littleton's research lab. Her research interests include physical activity as an adjunct treatment for PTSD related to sexual trauma, as well as factors that influence sexual health and functioning following sexual assault.
