Biography

Ryan Nolan is a Master's student in trauma psychology at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. He is studying the role of emotions and emotion regulation in trauma survivors and has a secondary interest in the cognitive processes of trauma and resilience.

 

Ryan has been a research assistant for the Lyda Institute for Human Resilience (formerly known as the Trauma, Health, and Hazards Center) since March of 2019. He has a background in treatment counseling for youths with trauma histories and has previously assisted in research for metacognition, prosocial development, and neuropsychology.
