Community Trainings & Workshops
The Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience provides trainings and workshops to the community to assist organizations in becoming trauma-informed and resilience-informed. As stress and trauma impact many professions and organizations, employees can benefit from gaining a basic understanding of the effects of stress, as well as how to build and foster resilience in themselves and within their organization.
These trainings are ideal for any organization exposed to stress or trauma, including emergency-response and law enforcement organizations, healthcare providers, mental health centers, victim advocacy organizations, schools, and more.
Ensuring that a workforce is trauma-informed and resilience-informed can reduce burnout, primary and secondary traumatic stress, and negative health outcomes related to stress within the workplace. In-turn, this can reduce employee turnover and build trust and support within the organization.

Trainings are provided in one-topic, one-hour blocks. Workshops are more interactive and cover several topics, with virtual workbooks and resources provided. Trainings and workshops are delivered through Zoom.
