Gemma is a first-year clinical psychology master's student in the trauma sub-plan. She graduated from Truman State University in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in biology. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction novels, caring for her houseplants, and spending time with animals. Gemma's research interests include PTSD recovery in military populations, CPTSD, and general protective factors that promote resiliency, such as self-compassion and emotion regulation.
